While searching for his missing fat her, Kit Taylor finds an Adve nt D eck - a spe cial card deck that allows the carrier to transf orm into a Kamen Rider and u tilize unique weapons and pow ers - and uses it to become Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. H e butts heads with Len , who serves as Kamen Ri der Wing Knight, but the pair j oin forces after Kit lear ns that the wicked Gen eral Xaviax has imprison ed h is father and is using him and the other hum ans that his monsters abduct to g ain power and rebuil d his homeworld. Later on Kase, a fe llow survivor of Ventara like L en, would join fo rces with Len and Kit to figh t Xaviax. In addition to training Kit to fig ht like a Rider, Len and Kase tell Kit all about the twelve Riders w ho banded together as the protect ors of Ventara - a wor ld opposi te to our own - to t ake Xaviax down.
