Whil e searching fo r his missing fa ther, K it T aylor finds an Advent Deck - a s pecial card deck t hat allows the carrier to transform into a Kamen Ride r and ut ilize unique weapons and powe rs - and uses it to become Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. He butts heads wi th Len, who serve s as Kamen Rider Wing Knight, b ut the pair join forces after Kit learns tha t the wicked General Xaviax has i mpri soned his father and is using him a nd th e other humans that his monst ers abduct to gain power and rebuild his home world. Later o n Kase, a fellow survivor of Ven tara like Len, would join forc es with Len and Kit to fi ght Xaviax. In addition to training Kit to figh t li ke a Ride r, Len and K ase tell Kit all about the twelve Riders who banded tog ethe r as the protectors of Ventara - a worl d opposite to our own - to take Xavi ax down.
