While sear ching for his missing father, Kit Taylor finds an Advent Deck - a special card deck that allows the carrier to transform into a Kamen Rider and utilize unique weapons and power s - and uses it t o become K amen Rider Dragon Knight. He butts head s with Len , who serves as Kamen Rider Wing Knight, but the pair join forces after Kit le arns tha t th e wicked G enera l Xaviax has imprisoned his father and is using him and the o ther humans t hat his m onsters abduct to ga in power and reb uild his homeworld. Later on K ase, a fell ow survivor of Ventara like Le n, w ould join forces with Len and Kit to fight Xav iax. In addition to tr aining Kit to fight like a Rider, Len and Kase tell Kit all about the twelve Riders who banded together as the pro tectors of Ventar a - a world oppo site to our own - to take Xaviax down.
