Series 7 of Doctor Who is ex pect ed to air on B BC One throughout 2012 and 2013.[1] The B BC announced the news of the new series , which will contain f ourteen episodes, on th e official D octor Who site on 8 June 201 1.[2] Series 7 will begin its run in the Au tumn of 201 2 with five regular stand- alone episo des and a Christmas Spec ial. It will then be fol lowed by the r emaining eight episode s in 2013.
