Durin g her first visit to the l ibrary she r uns into writer, Jake (Derek Theler), who is researching the t ale of Capt ain Black Bart's hidden treasures for his next nove l. With hopes of sav ing the librar y, Mrs. Arc her (Rachel Tic otin), the librarian, pushe s Jake to show Rachel what t he library means to the town. Jake's a lready got a lot on his plat e with his research and takin g care of his niece, Hailey (Chiara Aurelia ), and ne phew, Noah (Max Pa ge), for the summer bu t he agrees to help ou t. “我的脑海里，总是出现这个画面。仔细 想来，好像黑土部落原本 没有那么强的实力的，后来搜刮到不 少的东西，都是大族才有的。之前我只想着，可能是换来的，可是现在 细细的想来，总觉得这件事情和云族有什么牵扯似的。”
“嫁人？ 好像不是这样吧？当初我过来乔木家的时候呢，并 不是嫁的， 是你们收了他二十五两的银子，然后还写了卖身契，然后将我给卖给乔木的，这卖出去当媳妇当丫鬟都是可以，只是乔木选择的 让我当媳妇而已，若是乔木当我当 丫鬟，今 日连嫁字 都不上了吧？”
“咱们班那个夏莹 莹，她爸是纺织厂工会秘书，她妈还 是教育局 的，所以平时在咱们班特 别的嚣张，就是个被宠坏的大小姐，她能来一中，就是她 妈靠关系弄进来的，虽 说她暗恋罗明安，但是她也不敢在他面前造次，因为她知道她的关系硬不过罗明安。”
