Young co uple Madeleine and Neil are coaxed by a cquaintance Monsieu r Be aumont to get marri ed on his Haitia n plantation. Beaumont 's motives ar e purely selfish as he makes every attempt t o convince the beautiful young girl to run away with him. For help Beaumont tu rns to the de vious Leg endre, a man wh o runs his mill by mind controlli ng people he ha s turned into zombies. Aft er Beaumont uses Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, he is dissatisfied with her emotionless being and wants her to be chan ged back.
