The emotions that bubble under th e surface, only som etim es brea king thr ough, give t his film i ts strength and it s power. Di fferent stories of differe nt people a ll struggling with day to day life sharing the common experience of being New Yorker s post 9/11 . The refe rences to what happe ned are almost all unspoken, evoked thr ough the im ages displayed or the backgr ound sounds, yet ther e is no dou bt that w hat happened is a f orce in t he lives of all o f these people. I ntelligent film-making at it s best.
