Repor ter Emanue lle (Laura G emser) is doi ng a s tory on the white slave trade and tracks everything to a gangster livi ng in Africa. Not happy stopping there, Emanuell e comes back to America and begins work ing under cover. This is probably the be st of the D'AmatoGemser Emanuelle m ovies but that's n ot saying t oo much. Unlike the other films in t he ser ies this one here at lea st manages to be entertaining without having to h ave a woman jerk off a hors e as was see n in Emanuelle in A merica. This film h ere has a pret ty interest ing story and it mov es along without too many boring spo ts. Needless to say there's a lot of sex sce nes with Gemse r taking on various men a nd women and these he re are without a doubt the best scenes. D'Am ato makes most o f these ver y er otic, which is another thing missing from others in the ser ies. I wouldn't say Gemser gives a go od performan ce but she is comfor table in the role a nd you can't com plain abou t seeing her naked throughout the film. The sc enes in Africa are well sho t and it's nice seeing some of the wildlif e. Some of the Am erican scenes were lifted fr om Emanuelle and the Last Cannibal s but this just adds to some of the cheap fun . Orig inal tit le Via della prostituzi one,
