The story of t he movie is somewhat based on the plot of the most re cent game, Saku ra Wars 3 , released bac k in March thi s year. Whil e the game features Lieu tenant Ohgam i, the main character who take s off for Paris, narrates one side of the story , the movie unveil s the secrets behind Ha nagumi. Ohg ami leaves for Paris, consequently leaving Hanagumi witho ut a le ader ; thus a new character w ill be intr oduced here. To be replaced with Lieutenant Ohgami is the former leader o f Hoshigumi, Ra chette Artile - a ratio nalistic and distinct individ ual, who b rings abo ut serious pro blems to Hanagumi. The memb ers are now in discord with Rachette. Mean while, Te ikoku Kageki dan was being threaten ed b y some irrelevant demon s and a n ew type of anti-kouma mechas, (b rought by an ame rican comp any) appea rs and tries to repla ce the koubu-kai . Having made repeat ed mis takes due to the absenc e of Ohgami, Hanagumi is now f aced with an unprecede nted danger, while the abolishment of Teikoku Kagekidan H anagumi is being s chemed.
